Wi-Fi TV Prepares to Launch $1 Million Global Marketing and Development Campaign

By Anuradha Shukla, TMCnet Contributing Editor

Beginning the first week of April, Wi-Fi TV, Inc., will begin deploying a year-long, million dollar marketing and development campaign aimed to increase its base of registered users and to enhance its traffic rankings as tracked by the independent Alexis.

The campaign also aims to drive the sale of Wi-Fi TV online video ads and Wi-Fi TV stations as a result of the increase in market share.

An update on early results of its marketing campaign will be provided by Wi-Fi TV through a live Webinar from London which will take place during April. The details including the date, time and how to access the London Webinar will be announced in early April.

More details on the marketing campaign will be available as it is rolled out.

Wi-Fi TV’s social Internet TV Web site,Wi-FiTV.com can be viewed globally. The company has its own national independent sales force, and is also expanding into England. With these efforts Wi-Fi TV hopes to potentially become listed on the London/AIM Exchange.

The company claims it provided the first online movie, in December 1995. Its Web site lets visitors watch hundreds of TV stations and chat with others watching the same program in a live chat box directly under the viewing screen—as well as get breaking news for each country and category listed, host live video parties, and download a dialer for making free phone calls.

Launched in 1995, Wi-Fi TV Inc. provides a next-generation TV delivery platform that the company claims has a geographic sphere out-distancing any traditional cable or over-the-air TV broadcaster.

Wi-Fi TV memberships are free.
