AT&T ( News - Alert) has signed a content agreement with World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. (WWE) to offer mobile WWE content to wrestling fans. Thanks to the latest collaboration between AT&T and WWE, wrestling fans will be able to experience mobile video and interactivity on their mobile devices.
WWE provides television programming viewed by over 15 million viewers each week, with fans following WWE across all media including online sources, pay-per-view, television, DVD, magazines and films.
According to a news release, AT&T will introduce various wireless related services in the coming months, providing access to a customized mobile Internet WWE portal giving fans access to a content library. The company will offer an exclusive collection of WWE-themed graphics, videos, ringtones, voice tones and wallpaper content, allowing fans to personalize their mobiles.
AT&T charges USD $19.99 for basic Cingular ( News - Alert) Video content, with access to WWE videos. Fans can opt for WWE Mobile video content by paying separately. Users subscribing to'WWE Ringside' will have to pay USD $4.99 per month.
