DeFi Mobile recently announced the launch of the DeFi Global Access which will allow subscribed members to make and receive unlimited phone calls from around the world through Wi-Fi access to its carrier-grade global IP (Internet Protocol) network.
The subscription-based service will provide users with a cost-effective alternative at a monthly flat fee of $40 and also includes additional services like data access for mobile handsets enabling Web browsing and e-mail as well as unlimited worldwide Internet facilities.
"DeFi Global Access members experience the freedom of unlimited global voice and data connection without the fear of shocking international long-distance and roaming fees, the frustration of juggling SIM cards, and fumbling with alternative work-arounds," commented Jeff Rice (News - Alert), CEO and co-founder of DeFi Mobile.
DeFi Global Access members will be given an individual number by DeFi for every international number chosen by them. Members can choose a maximum of three numbers from different countries and destinations for an additional fee of $10 per month. Once these numbers have been selected, members will be able to make unlimited calls and receive the same from these numbers thus maintaining contacts with friends, family and important international business clients in a cost effective way. Additionally, customers will have the advantage of continuing the use of their present mobile numbers with the same service providers as they will use dual mode smartphones which will be both Wi-Fi and cellular compatible.

DeFi Global Access will provide members with essential features like call-forwarding, call hold and call transfer along with voicemail-to-e-mail and caller ID features that can be customized by members to suit their requirements via their own Web portals. Its facility will give users the benefits of an easy, clear-voice and uninterrupted long-distance conversation.
DeFi Global Access is capable of routing calls over its network and can eliminate the common problems of dropped calls faced by VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) operators.
