Alert), ITU, and IEEE. These systems are mainly used in GSM-railway, network security, convergence and interconnection, digital public mobile radio, as well as European and national regulatory requirements.
Performance Technologies’ Advanced Managed Platforms consist of a broad range of Ethernet switches, single board computers, I/O subsystems, and its CGL 4.0 Registered Linux operating system (OS) and development environment, NexusWare.
Another important component of AMP platforms is the Intelligent Shelf Manager (ISM) that provides comprehensive shelf management and remote system monitoring. This feature enables end-users to monitor the system status anywhere anytime using Internet connection.
All the components in the AMP platforms are tightly integrated, so they reduce development time and ensure interoperability, says Performance Technologies. Additionally, the ‘hot-swap’ slot control and redundant power supply capabilities enable them to maintain maximum system availability.
“Performance Technologies’ tightly integrated Advanced Managed Platform gives us a solid framework on which to build our communication systems,” said Norbert Schäfer, WINGcon managing partner. “This will enable us to deploy sophisticated and reliable systems for railway communication networks.”
Performance Technologies’ integrated Internet Protocol platforms and solutions are used in communications networks and innovative computer system architectures. The Embedded Systems Group of Performance Technologies offers application-ready platforms that incorporate open standards-based software and hardware.
The Signaling Systems Group offers the SEGway product suite, which includes IP Spanning Tree Protocols (STPs), Signaling System 7 (SS7) over IP transport solutions, and signaling gateways that enable lower operating costs through utilization of IP networks.
Robert Potter, vice president of EMEA at Performance Technologies, said the company is looking forward to a long-term partnership with WINGcon in providing unrivaled communication solutions.
