By Eve Sullivan, TMCnet Editor

Wi-Fi TV Inc., which has been steadily increasing revenue and registered users for its website, is emerging with a new plan to move up the ranks of global web sites in terms of viewers, market share for Internet TV, revenue and corporate value.

Wi-Fi TV today announced its goals for the next generation Wi-Fi TV website and has been consulting with longtime shareholders, users and fans about how to most quickly and effectively implement its vision.

The company believes that implementation of the goals will put them in position to become a well-known and popular global web site with an exit strategy of being potentially sold to a larger company and gaining corporate value. The goals for the next-generation web site are divided into four categories: Personal TV Stations Launch, Business TV Stations Upgrades, Site Upgrades, China and Global Expansion.

Introduction of the first Personal TV Stations will have several attributes, including unique URL, so creators of personal TV stations can provide an easy link to friends that will go to their unique TV station page; new uploading of interface and order of 24/7 continuous streaming programming and on-demand videos; user upload of pictures and logo to their unique TV station page; and user upload of station description to their unique TV station page.

It will also have user creation of links, including to their other websites on their unique TV station page; user upload of RSS new feeds to their unique TV station page; user ability to “go live” including, for the first time on the Internet, featuring live video and audio of friends who are invited to join live TV sessions through their webcams and computers; live chat box; and enhanced search feature.

Enhanced Internet TV stations for sale to business include all of the features of a personal Internet TV station, plus the ability to sell sponsorships; ability to sell sponsorships; ability to upload ads and retain ad revenue; ability to link to shopping cart; listing in premium stations box throughout the web site; listing on Wi-Fi TV Clicker Tape; inclusion in press releases; and inclusion in e-mails to Wi-Fi database. Also, inclusion of select programming on W-Fi TV Channel One; station owners will be interviewed for Wi-Fi TV special programming; and inclusion in business station of the week program.

For Wi-Fi TV site upgrades: easier and clearer user interface for both viewers and providers of content; elimination of extraneous items to focus on Internet TV and Internet movies; graphically simpler sign-up, log-in and less introductory pages; and improved tutorial for online automation of all station creation and maintenance features.

Wi-Fi TV will progressively enter the China and Global Marketing with relocation of U.S.-based servers to Los Angeles; plan for introduction of servers in China; plan for Chinese language version of web site; distribution of China by a leading Chinese content distribution provider; and enhanced relationships with telephony and Internet companies in the United Kingdom.

While working toward the implementation of its next generation web site, Wi-Fi TV is now adding new exclusive station content on a regular basis at www.Wi-FiTV.com.

Wi-Fi TV is a pioneer of TV on the Internet, has long touted the coming convergence of TV and the Internet, and provided the first online movie in December 1995. Wi-Fi TV Inc. provides Social Internet TV, a new generation TV delivery platform that has a geographic sphere out-distancing any traditional cable or over-the-air TV broadcaster.

The Wi-Fi TV web site is the only place on the Internet where you can watch hundreds of TV stations and chat with others watching the same program in a live chat box directly under the viewing screen. You can also get breaking news for each country and category listed, download a free dialer, make phone calls and host live video parties.

The Company was launched in 1995 and has been publicly traded since November 1997. Wi-Fi TV Inc. recently announced that it is adding additional technological features to its web site to position it to be a leader in Internet TV market share, and has introduced a simplified sign-up process.
