Alltel ( News - Alert) Wireless is now offering residents of the U.S access to unlimited WiFi from all supported hotspot throughout country with no contract commitment.
In October 2007, Alltel began offering WiFi ( News - Alert) service to its nationwide subscribers powered by Boingo Wireless, a leading network of WiFi hotspots that encompassed all Alltel subscribers in North and South America. More than 15,000 additional hotspots were added to Alltel’s nationwide service, which includes thousands of hotels, bookstores, coffee shops and fast food restaurants.
With today’s announcement, all Alltel and non-Alltel customers can now have access to more than 25,000 hotspots developed through Alltel’s relationship with Boingo Wireless ( News - Alert), the global market leader in WiFi, as revealed by the company statement.
Users can access unlimited WiFi access for $19.99 per month or $3.99 per day with no contract commitment.
Recently, Alltel Wireless began offering an Internet Anywhere Bundle, allowing Alltel customers to bundle their Wireless Internet plan with unlimited WiFi access for their laptop. The $69.98 per month bundle gives customers the choice of connecting to either Alltel’s EVDO network or a WiFi hotspot . More information about the bundle is available at www.alltel.com/internet.

Rittgers added, “Alltel, together with Boingo Wireless, is pleased to offer the flexibility of WiFi to stay in touch with families and friends or access work e-mail and schedules through a reliable connection.”
