NextG Networks has launched major DAS networks in Los Angeles and the surrounding Metro area, which are expected to significantly boost wireless performance for operators and the customers they serve within this large area, including densely populated areas in and around Los Angeles.
NextG Networks offers outdoor DAS networks, using fiber-fed distributed antenna systems to operate carrier-class wireless networks.
With its proprietary fiber optic architecture and expert public rights-of-way site management, NextG designs, permits, builds, owns, operates, and manages DAS networks.
NextG’s DAS networks are protocol-neutral, so they scale easily to support multiple wireless carriers, services, and technologies.
NextG provides RF transport and backhaul services to wireless service providers over discrete, multi-frequency
, scalable networks that improve any wireless service’s quality, coverage, and capacity.
NextG’s Los Angeles multi-operator network includes a combination of newly-built DAS nodes, as well as upgrades to pre-existing node sites, to accommodate new data-rich technology and service offerings. NextG has the largest DAS-network presence in Southern California, stretching from San Diego to Los Angeles.
“As demonstrated by this latest deployment, the operator community is continuing to embrace DAS,” said John Georges, NextG’s CEO. “Our deployments continue to expand across the United States. We believe that DAS has clearly entered the mainstream as a ‘first choice’ infrastructure solution.”
