It also provides network access, communication services and value-added services with increasing bandwidth via fixed and mobile networks.
Deutsche Telekom has three customer brands T-Home, T-Mobile and T-Systems. T-Home is for all products and services at home, T-Mobile for products and services while roaming
and T-Systems to offer medium to large-sized customers with ICT solutions worldwide.
T-Mobile HotSpot
is a Wi-Fi service located in Germany and some other European Countries. It is said to be the most accessible public wireless broadband service available in the region, which has approximately 8,000 hotspots in locations like drive-thru restaurants, Starbucks and major hotels and airports and selected railway stations.
Devicescape can enable any Wi-Fi enabled device like notebooks, media players, cameras and game systems to connect to any T-Mobile hotspot location. With this in mind, the company has widened the range of devices which can get access to T-Mobile network, thereby getting increased network usage and also increased revenues.
"We are pleased to partner with a leading network operator, such as Deutsche Telekom to make Wi-Fi access even easier for T-Home and T-Mobile users and expand the number of devices that are able to easily access the network," said David Fraser, CEO for Devicescape, in the statement, "Devicescape will drive more devices to the network, helping our leading telecom partners benefit from expanded network usage globally."
With this partnership of Devicescape and Deutsche Telekom, T-Home and T-Mobile users will be benefited with automatic wireless access whenever they are in the range of a T-Mobile HotSpot. Devicescape service will support automatic login for devices with or without browsers, thereby eliminating the need for users to type in login and password information. It also automates access at any roaming partner hotspot which will increase coverage area for traveling users.
"Deutsche Telekom is committed to providing our customers with reliable Wi-Fi coverage where they need it and when they need it. And, as we continue to evolve, we want to make it as easy as possible for them to get any of their newest devices connected in order to enjoy the benefits of wireless broadband," said Andreas Morschhausen, Head of Product Management, Mobile Access, in the statement, "Devicescape appeals to a wide audience of Wi-Fi users, so by making it easy to sign up for the Mobile HotSpot Service, we're able to expand the coverage these Wi-Fi users can enjoy."
