Alloptic (

Alert), a developer of RF over glass (RFoG) and passive optical networking (PON) solutions for CATV, telecom, and private network operators worldwide, has signed a distribution agreement with Cascade Networks of Longview, Washington.’
As per the pact, Cascade Networks will distribute Alloptic’s GEPON and MicroNode products within its service region.
“Unlike other distributors, our first experience with Alloptic’s products were actually deploying and running their equipment in our own network,” Brian Magnuson, President of Cascade Networks said in a press release.

Alert) Gear portfolio of products. Our feeling is that Alloptic’s solutions fit nicely as a backhaul
solution for the wireless products we offer as well as a standalone fiber solution.”

Last Mile Gear is a manufacturer and developer of wireless data solutions. The company’s existing product line includes a wide range of Access Points, Subscriber Modules, and Backhauls, all of which are engineered to military specifications. Last Mile Gear has deployed equipment in climates ranging from the Arctic to the Middle East.
