TeraXion Inc. has launched its new PowerSpectrum product line, comprised of high-performance Fiber Bragg Grating-based components, which are key elements in the design of various kinds of fiber lasers and semiconductor lasers used in industrial, military and aerospace markets.
TeraXion Inc. offers performance-defining OEM products and conditioning of light signals in mission-critical applications of Telecom, Defense & Aerospace and Industrial markets.
The new PowerSpectrum offering includes two flagship devices—the PowerSpectrum-HPR, a high power reflector addressing the very demanding requirements of continuous wave or pulsed fiber lasers, available in various configurations and making it perfectly suited for fiber lasers up to 800 watts and the PowerSpectrum-NLS, an ultra narrow band laser stabilizer a thermally-packaged with standard or polarization maintaining fiber. The PWS-NLS used in combination with semiconductor lasers provides high- performance light sources for applications where a high level of wavelength stability is required.
The PowerSpectrum product line also includes other customized devices meeting specific requirements for other types of laser applications such as pulse stretchers and compressors for ultra fast fiber lasers.
"In bringing the PowerSpectrum product line to the market, we are building on our expertise gained in Telecommunication to set the reference in terms of performance, reliability and ease of use for these high-performance laser components", Dr. Martin Guy, V-P Product Management and Technology at TeraXion said in a press release.
