Aptilo Networks, developer of integrated solutions for Service Management and Access Control for wireless networks, is set to acquire Airpath Wireless, Inc., provider of hosted solutions for network operators, service providers and systems integrators.

The acquisition will also reinforce Aptilo's existing software license and managed service offerings with the addition of Airpath's managed service solutions.

market will experience significant growth, fueled by an increasing number of devices with built-in Wi-Fi/WiMAX technology. This will surely attract many new types of users and new services.

Under the agreement, Aptilo and Airpath will combine their operations, staff and customer base. Aptilo will be emphasizing on the strengths and functionalities of both companies to enhance the product/service offerings delivered through a platform with proven stability and carrier-grade service level.
