ZK Celltest ( News - Alert) announced Tuesday that Brightcomms, one of the top network planning and optimization services provider, has picked ZK Celltest to contribute to Brightcomms's multi-vendor network planning and optimization services in the GSM/EDGE/UMTS/HSDPA, CDMA EV-DO REV.A, and WiMAX ( News - Alert) arenas.
According to a press release, the alliance will leverage the power of Brightcomms’ position as a major optimization service provider and utilize the strength of ZK Celltest's advanced line of test and measurement equipment used to maintain, optimize and benchmark wireless data systems and networks.
ZK Celltest family of products has the ability to support the entire spectrum of CDMA, EVDO, GSM, GPRS, EDGE, UMTS , HSDPA, HSUPA and WIMAX standards. Designed from the ground up, ZK Celltest solutions are dedicated, non-PC, products that are ideal for use in the field.
Because ZK’s solutions eliminate the need for a laptop they are suitable for drive testing, where drivers must keep their attention on the road rather than on a laptop screen. The solutions are also ideal for in building use where the ZK-SAMp is lightweight, performs indoor benchmarking and logs data to a floor plan bitmap image right on the display.
