According to a recent announcement, Level 3 Communications has been chosen as Alltel (News - Alert) Wireless' 2007 Telecom Sourcing Supplier of the Year. Level 3 was honored during Alltel’s Annual Vendor Forum.

Alltel evaluates its vendors on several parameters including quality, delivery, price, technology roadmap and relationship. Level 3 has powered several voice and data solutions for Alltel's convergence network in turn boosting Alltel’s voice business. Level 3 has been offering Alltel with Level 3 Voice Services, Intercity Transport, Metro Transport Services, High Speed Internet Protocol (HSIP) and Collocation Services.
