Alert) Ltd. and Bridgewater Systems have announced they will be providing MSTelecom, of the Sonangal Group, with WiMAX
solutions for their IP services deployments in Northern Angola.
This new project will be supporting MSTelcom’s services like national satellite coverage, broadband services, terrestrial links, Internet access, national and international connectivity or telephony besides radio tracking services.
Bridgewater will provide its AAA Service Controller as part of Alvarion’s OPEN (

Alert) WiMAX
architecture. This will enable MSTelcom to provide robust authentication and authorization for high speed Internet and VoIP WiMAX (

Alert) services based on IEEE 802.16e Mobile WiMAX technology.
MSTelcom will be able to offer last mile solutions for residential and SOHO markets, making the network highly efficient and in the future, a rural satellite based network for telephony connectivity can be built.
