Ontario-based wireless firm BSM Technologies Inc., has integrated its tracking software (SentinelFM) into Trans+Plus Systems' Fleet Manager Professional, creating a new system that the company says will make logistic management far easier.

 

For large transport companies, the Integration of SentinelFM with Fleet Manager Professional makes everything automatic - from resource management to tracking and to communications.

SentinelFM uses GPS technology to pinpoint the location of a vehicle, and uses wireless data technology to communicate the information. Meanwhile, the Fleet Manager Professional helps to view the exact location of truck—eliminating unnecessary calls to drivers and keep drivers up-to-date with changes.

"The industry wants more options. As a Canadian leader, we need to offer that," stated Dave Wright, President and CEO of Trans+Plus Systems Corp. "Not only have we added the integration with BSM Wireless technology but our communications module actually provides a single interface to multiple communication systems. This allows our customers to utilize a mixture of mobile communication vendors for their fleets," added Mr. Wright.
