Mobile Satellite Ventures (MSV) and Wireless Matrix have announced that both the companies have signed a two-year service agreement extension for satellite communications service that will run through 2009.
The latest agreement extends the current contract between the two companies that was first enacted in September, 1998.
“MSV is very pleased to continue our valued business association with Wireless Matrix,” John Mattingly, president of Satellite Services at MSV, said in a press release. “MSV s satellite capacity provides an essential link enabling Wireless Matrix to deliver reliable, cost-efficient services that meet the communications of its wide-ranging variety of customers.”
Noting that integration of satellite service with broadband wireless networks is a key differentiator in Wireless Matrix s 360 Degree Mobile Resource Management service offering, J. Richard Carlson, president and CEO at Wireless Matrix, commented, “MSV is a valued partner in our solutions, and we re pleased to extend our relationship with them.”
