Alert) and Ortiva Wireless have announced the establishment of a new development center to accelerate the creation and delivery of advanced mobile multimedia solutions.
As per the partnership, Aricent will provide R&D services to support the entire lifecycle, including product development, quality assurance and support, for Ortiva’s Media Shaper platform. The development center is expected to help Ortiva bring its mobile multimedia and on-demand delivery solutions to carriers and content providers across the globe.

Alert), indicated that his company chose Aricent for the strength of its offerings and engineering expertise in the mobile multimedia market. “Together with Aricent, we will continue to advance the mobile multimedia market by providing carriers and content providers with the solutions they need to better control and maximize their investment in mobile multimedia.”

Bhardwaj also commented that working with Ortiva, the new development center is an important step in helping to enable a seamless mobile multimedia user experience.
Through Aricent’s new center, with its full suite of mobile applications, middleware
and optimized embedded multimedia codecs for multiple mobile platforms, Dey said, “Ortiva can perform research, development and testing of its built-for-mobile multimedia delivery solutions.”
