Wi-Fi TV will be launching an all new Wi-Fi TV web site, which includes 500 TV stations featuring live chat. Also included is the new Wi-FiCars.com, a TV station exclusive to the internet. The web site is planned to go live today at 1 PM Pacific time, 4 PM Eastern time, according to an announcement from Wi-Fi TV.
An extensive global promotion and marketing campaign is planned by Wi-Fi TV, and the company is also looking to expand into Europe and the People’s Republic of China. This will be the very first global web site to feature live TV with live chat, user video, as well as on-demand video--and all in a single web site. In addition to this, the new Social Internet TV web site features a virtual phone as well as user hosted live video party rooms.
Wi-Fi TV is a pioneer of TV on the Internet and is also the creator of Social Internet TV. Wi-Fi TV Inc. has long been predicting the coming convergence of TV and the Internet. The company broadcast the first online movie in December of 1995.
