Franklin Wireless Corp. has announced the launch of the CGU-628 HSDPA
mobile broadband USB modem, promising to enhance global connectivity.
Mobile Broadband HSDPA USB Modem is a small and intelligent device which facilitates wireless access to the Internet through a high-speed network. Users can access wireless data communications networks using laptops and desktop computers, thereby encouraging the sending and receiving of emails with file attachments as well as picture, video and music content and the playing of interactive games.
The newly launched modem offers the flexibility of HSDPA in tri-band 850/1900/2100 MHz and in quad-band EDGE/GPRS/GSM
850/900/1800/1900 MHz capability. The CGU-628 provides high-speed connectivity to HSDPA networks with data speeds up to 7.2 Mbps.
The compact CGU-628 USB modem also weighs just 25 grams but has the capability to enable users to connect easily to the high-speed HSDPA network as the device is compatible with any laptop, tablet PC or desktop USB port and operates with Windows and Macintosh operating systems. The Onboard flash memory of the CGU-628 is a notable feature.
Another unique feature includes a patent-pending swiveling USB connector, which enables the modem to be raised vertically for improved radio frequency
performance or folded away when not in use.
"The CGU-628 USB modem demonstrates Franklin Wireless' continual leadership in delivering wireless broadband USB modems that incorporate high-end features," said Mr. Nick Lim, executive vice president of Franklin Wireless. "We are pleased to offer customers a multi-platform connectivity solution that will enable them to connect anywhere, anytime."
