Coastside Net has recently completed the upgrade of its downtown Half Moon Bay, Calif., outdoor WiFi network using GO Networks' (News - Alert) innovative Mobile Broadband Wireless (MBW) products and technologies.

By utilizing GO Networks’ state-of-art MBW 2000 series micro cell and MBW 1000 series pico cell outdoor WiFi (News - Alert) base stations the new network has boosted network coverage and capacity, reduced interference, and lowered costs.

Coastside Net, a full-service Internet Service Provider (ISP) serves the municipality of Half Moon Bay, California. The service provider wanted to expand the range and coverage of its existing WiFi network. GO Networks supplied Coastside Net with advanced WiFi network equipment powered by the company's innovative xRF adaptive beamforming smart antenna technology.

Coastside Net deployed the GO Network solution, which outperformed its existing system by a factor of two to one, and significantly reduced the number of WiFi access points required and profit from a major reduction in upfront deployment and ongoing operating costs.

Rob Genovesi, owner, Coastside Net said that their partnership with GO Networks enables them to quickly and economically offer better wireless services to the businesses, residents and visitors of downtown Half Moon Bay. With GO Networks, Coastside Net is able to significantly increase network coverage and performance, while containing costs.
