Connexus has opted for Xirrus for its company-wide Wi-Fi
rollout.
Wi-Fi will initially be deployed at Connexus' offices in Mountain View, California followed by its El Segundo and New York locations.
"Solving our performance issues and standardizing on a common Wi-Fi infrastructure platform across our locations were big factors in the decision-making process," said Matt Grosso, Chief Technology Officer, Connexus. "We deployed the Xirrus Wi-Fi Arrays to provide a high-performance solution with increased coverage and reliability; all while using less equipment, allowing us to complete the Wi-Fi deployment at our Mountain View office quickly and efficiently."
Connexus has done away with its outmoded thin access point and controller architecture because of limited performance and connectivity issues.
"Because our Wi-Fi Arrays provide more coverage, more bandwidth and better performance than that of our competitors, we were able to have Connexus' deployment running in just one day," said Charles Bettinelli, regional manager at Xirrus. "At Xirrus, we value the personal and customized support we provide to all our customers. The success of the Connexus deployment demonstrates the reliability of our solution in a traditional enterprise deployment."
Xirrus offers powerful Wi-Fi solution on the market providing the most coverage and bandwidth per cable drop compared with all other offerings. Leveraging the Wi-Fi solution, Connexus will be able to achieve cost-savings in switch ports, cabling expenses and installation time.
