ThinkCX's Mobile SwitchInsight Uncovers Trends in Mobile Customer Switching Patterns

By Tracey E. Schelmetic May 02, 2024

Today’s mobile carriers, including both mobile network operators (MNO) and mobile virtual network operators (MVNOs), are seeing a regular stream of customers coming in and customers leaving. Americans are increasingly playing a musical chairs game to get the best service at the best price. To better understand how to keep the customers coming in and stem the tide of customers going out, it’s important for mobile telephone services providers to understand they hows, whys and whens of customer entrances and exits.

ThinkCX Technologies Inc., a provider of data analytics for the telecom sector, recently announced the U.S. launch of its product Mobile SwitchInsight, which was designed to boost market intelligence capabilities for U.S. wireless carriers.

Mobile SwitchInsight leverages a variety of privacy-compliant, high-quality data sources and analysis and data modeling, providing wireless carriers with insights into subscriber switching patterns. The solution aims to uncover subscriber trends across Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) and Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs), as well as Prepaid and Postpaid subscribers, marking a significant improvement over other solutions available today. Mobile SwitchInsight is being offered on a subscription basis to all U.S. wireless carriers.

The solution includes a number of features, including Advanced Win and Loss Share Analysis, which uncovers insights into market competitiveness by tracking daily subscriber movements among the leading U.S. carriers; Holistic Market Coverage, which leverages a comprehensive market view; Granular Data Visualization to dive deep into subscriber behaviors; an intuitive user experience; and strategic data feed integration that integrates Mobile Switchlight data into existing marketing and sales systems.

"In a market as competitive as telecom, understanding the nuances of subscriber behavior is crucial. With Mobile SwitchInsight, we're not just providing data; we're offering a lens through which carriers can truly understand their position in the market and strategize accordingly," said Aaron Nielsen, CEO at ThinkCX. "This product surpasses existing solutions in the market today, by delivering more accurate and robust insights across all carrier brands."
