Tufin Technologies, a provider of security lifecycle management solutions, recently announced that Tufin SecureTrack and SecureChange Workflow have been recognized as “innovative security lifecycle management solutions” by Frost & Sullivan (News - Alert), a business research and consulting firm.

 

SecureTrack is a security operations management solution from Tufin. SecureTrack enables organizations to enhance security, reduce service interruptions and automate day-to-day tasks through powerful firewall management capabilities and reporting, according to Tufin.

 

SecureChange Workflow is a change management solution designed specifically for security policy change requests, the company said. SecureChange Workflow manages the entire lifecycle of a policy change request, from submission through design, risk analysis, approval, implementation and auditing.

 

Tufin’s SecureTrack and SecureChange got special mentioning in a recent report published by Frost & Sullivan on the need of security management solutions in enterprises. According to the report, the network security market is driven by an increasing need of management solutions to help secure network infrastructure while ensuring compliance with regulatory and corporate policies.

 

The research firm observed that security and network operations are becoming increasingly complex because of the multiple firewalls spread across different time zones and business units of large enterprises. Also, there is a compliance issue with stringent regulatory requirements such as Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) and Sarbanes – Oxley Act (SOX).

 

Tufin’s SecureTrack, according to Frost & Sullivan, reduces the complexity of network management. SecureTrack enables operations teams to increase network security and automate day-to-day tasks with powerful change tracking, risk analysis and security optimization capabilities, according to Tufin. SecureTrack is available both as a software or appliance-based solution.

 

Tufin’s SecureChange Workflow addresses the need for security change automation, the report said. SecureChange Workflow has been described as “a pioneering security change management solution to provide a proactive change management solution to the enterprise” by the growth consulting firm.
