Paglo Announces New SaaS Applications for Managing Physical and Virtual Server Infrastructure

Paglo, an on-demand IT management company, has announced new server and virtualization management applications for complete systems management.

This latest offering enables IT professionals and virtualization infrastructure (VI) administrators to automatically discover, securely store, search and visualize all of the IT data needed to manage physical and virtual machines (VMs) via an IT management platform.

The new server monitoring applications comes with number of features and benefits such as a unified view of all distributed physical and virtual VMware machines and the ability to search and report on them.

In addition, Paglo is integrated directly into the VMware VirtualCenter (Vcenter) client for instant querying and browsing of data from the virtualized environment; the ability to search and analyze historical data about the VMs, including how their configuration compares to other instances and has changed over time.

Additional features include automated alerting based on customer-defined critical machine and process thresholds and any downtime; and long-term collection and storage of historical server trend data for capacity planning and audit purposes.

“Paglo is the one IT management platform that companies need to keep their physical and virtual servers running smoothly,” said Brian de Haaff, CEO at Paglo CEO.

He said that company’s universal search technology is ideal for companies with large data centers as it automates the collection of all of the IT data and turns that data into operational and business insights, so IT managers can visualize what's happening and avoid downtime.

Ben Cannon, CEO at GeoVario, said that his company looked at just about every solution available to manage the servers that are fundamental to the cloud services that we provide.

Cannon said that Paglo was the obvious choice as it provides everything company needs to ensure that Web hosting infrastructure is running at its best. He added: “And now with the virtualization management application we can also monitor all of virtualized infrastructure for the same price.”

Paglo provides detailed host and application availability and latency information by monitoring all aspects of Windows, Linux and VMware ESX servers. Moreover, it provides a single view to track the health and performance of all key physical and virtual IT infrastructure.

The new server management applications come with no additional cost with the Paglo service, said company officials.
