Cegedim Dendrite, a firm that specializes in Customer Relationship Management for the life sciences industry, has signed a five year agreement with a biotechnology company for offering the Mobile Intelligence SaaS (News - Alert) CRM solution and OneKey healthcare professionals’ database to 1,500 users across 32 countries.
Cegedim Dendrite was formed in May 2007 when France-based global CRM provider CEGEDIM S.A. Group acquired Dendrite International. The firm offers a range of integrated products and services to audiences throughout the healthcare sector. It has designed its entire portfolio of products and services on the OneKey healthcare database, a powerful and up-to-date listing of healthcare professionals.
As mentioned, the Biotechnology Company took this decision to deploy Cegedim’s Mobile Intelligence for the majority of its markets only after an intensive selection process where Cegedim Dendrite rivaled its main competitors including; Verticals on Demand, Siebel/Oracle and Microsoft (News - Alert).
The terms of this agreement allows Cegedim Dendrite to deploy its Mobile Intelligence as Software as a Service (SaaS) application powered by OneKey and supported by local first and second line Helpdesk in all 32 countries. The majority of the countries’ deployments are scheduled for autumn 2009.
“This win is the result of the unique and innovative business model of Cegedim Dendrite, founded on the value added synergies between the Healthcare Customer Data, Stakeholders Management CRM functionalities and its global presence with local implementation and support services,” said Laurent Labrune, chief executive officer of Cegedim Dendrite.
The key drivers for this agreement are Cegedim Dendrite’s integrated offering with flexible delivery models (single or multi-tenant SaaS), according to the company.
Other than CRM solution, the company also provides sales, marketing and regulatory compliance solutions in more than 80 countries.
