NursingCorp Expands Services with StaffKnex's SaaS Application

NursingCorp of Chandler, Arizona, a software and consulting vendor offering a variety of Web-based products designed specifically for healthcare staffing firms, has chosen Ohio-based StaffKnex.

 

StaffKnex is a Web-based, software as a service (SaaS (News - Alert)) application, designed to assist businesses in managing emergency staffing situations. The solution helps in effective communication between the staff and employer.

 

The offering combines existing communication technologies, a scheduling application and staff directory to automate the resolution of staffing emergencies and the control of overtime.

 

In addition, StaffKnex supports text messaging, telephony (IVR) and e-mail so each employee can pick their preferred method of communication.

 

This new strategic partnership with StaffKnex allows NursingCorp to offer software clients new add-on services at a competitive price. These new services will be fully integrated into NursingCorp’s Web-based staffing software suite, noted Joseph Caracci, president of NursingCorp.

 

NursingCorp’s clients could previously send out bulk e-mail notices for open job orders, but the company recognized that they could improve their clients’ productivity if they enabled them to send out these notices via phone or text message.

 

“Now, through our partnership with StaffKnex, any NurseBooking client - new or existing, will have the option to add on the StaffKnex features which will be delivered as a fully integrated module directly through each client's own NurseBooking instance,” said Caracci.

 

Mark Woodka, president of StaffKnex, explained that when an employee calls off, StaffKnex automatically selects employees that are qualified to replace the absent worker and are not scheduled at that time. These employees then receive an alert, which informs them about any open shift, the location and the time.
