ePhoneNumbers Launches Services to the Public Nationwide

ePhoneNumbers, a company that offers its customers the ability to choose a phone number that suits them, has commercially launched its service nationwide. In addition to this, the company has also launched its new Web site, www.ephonenumbers.net.

 

With the successful completion of its beta phase which began in January, ePhoneNumbers is now ready to offers its customers extensive options from their inventory and access to over 750 thousand phone numbers from over 250 area codes across the United States, including the ability to fulfill special requests for local vanity phone numbers.

 

Also, the company’s newly launched Web site displays nearly 10 thousand local phone numbers that represents only a portion of the numbers available through ePhoneNumbers. The displayed numbers symbolize the most frequently requested types of phone numbers.

 

Founded in October 2008 by a team of entrepreneurs and marketers, ePhoneNumbers assisted over 2000 customers, since the beta phase, in securing over 3000 local and toll free phone numbers to meet their communication needs. Most of these were ported to a phone service of their choice by way of Local Number Portability (LNP) laws.

 

"The beta process was an overwhelming success, we achieved our goal of 2000 customers two months prior than expectations; expediting the public launch was the next logical step," said Beau Davis, co-founder and chief executive officer at ePhoneNumbers.

 

The company said it believes that the ability for its customers to choose brandable, memorable local phone numbers is a natural progression that has eluded consumers due to the monopolization of phone number assignments from phone companies.

 

"Consumers deserve to choose specific phone numbers, not to be assigned a random number. Research shows consumers retain their phone number in excess of 7 years and they deserve the right to choose their number, similar to selecting their service provider," states Michael Davis, executive vice president, marketing.

 

"Consumers no longer are forced to settle for the number assigned to them by their phone company, they are now, free to choose.”

 

ePhoneNumbers also mentioned about its commitment to the community through the ePhoneNumbers Gives Back Commitment program, which donates 10 percent of its pre-tax gross profits to one of five charitable organizations, chosen by our customers every quarter.

 

Some of the quarter's organizations, chosen during the beta phase include: Donors Choose, Autism Speaks, SPCA of America, Lance Armstrong Foundation, and Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
