Evolving Systems, AT&T Collaborate on Global Networking Services

Evolving Systems, a provider of software solutions and services to the wireless, wireline and Internet Protocol (IP) carrier market has signed a three-year contract with AT&T Business Solutions for a global networking solution and voice services linking company sites in the U.S., India and the United Kingdom.
This contract expands and extends an existing relationship between the two companies. Under the agreement, Evolving Systems will begin using AT&T (News - Alert) Virtual Private Network (VPN). This ultra-available, fully managed global VPN network will enable the company to streamline its voice and data communications across three of its core company locations. AT&T VPN is expected to improve operational efficiencies through information sharing, collaboration and IP telephony.
AT&T operating companies are also using Evolving Systems’ (News - Alert) NumeriTrack solution to support number inventory management for their wireless and wired business. NumeriTrack allows enables operators to store, assign, track and manage their telephone numbers for all services.

AT&T is a major wholesale transport and communications service provider maintaining connections to over 600 carriers in more than 220 countries and territories. The company made headlines earlier this week when global consulting firm, Frost & Sullivan (News - Alert) gave AT&T’s Wholesale division two awards for its VoIP Connect Service (AVOICS).
Frost & Sullivan, a San Antonio, Texas-based consulting firm picked AT&T as the 2009 North American Wholesale Communication Services Market Company of the Year and awarded the 2009 North American Wholesale Communication Services Product of the Year.
