Etendi Launches Web-Based Program to Help Relatives Communicate

Looking for a way to connect with your friends or family when you’re away from home? Privately-held software development company, etendi.com has announced its launch of etendi BRIDGE, a private network designed to meet the needs of non-custodial divorced parents, co-parenting situations, grandparents, military families and business travelers.

The company’s interactive platform allows users to create and leave text or video “Thinking of You” messages while using shared Web spaces to build custom Web pages, photo albums, explore common interests, plan events and build shared memories when they can’t be online together.

The new platform helps parents, kids and other family members be online at the same time and have a video phone call, play games or work on homework together.

It is a safe and secure Web-based meeting place that bridges the gap when parents and kids want to. It has been designed around a secure network infrastructure and all communications are encrypted. As a private network, unwanted outside interferences are not allowed: Only the subscriber can add participants.

Sounds like something nice to do especially for families who are not together for the holidays.

“With etendi BRIDGE there is no opportunity for external, undesirable content or SPAM to reach the kids,” said Mike Mahon, president of etendi.com.

The basic package for etendi BRIDGE starts at $8.99 per month with 500 megabyte file upload. There are no setup or termination fees and can you can cancel anytime. Etendi.com even offers a 30 day free-trial for the pay as you go option adding no long term commitments.

Doug Little, vice president of marketing at etendi said that before etendi BRIDGE, a mix of different Web-based tools was needed to provide all the features and capabilities parents and kids want.

“Using these tools together was complex, awkward, time consuming, and required considerable tech savvy,” Little said. “etendi BRIDGE simplifies things, saves time and is available to everyone.”
