ILS Enters Partnership with South American VoIP Provider

The International Lead Service Corporation or ILS, is entering into a strategic alliance with South America-based Ligatel, a provider of VoIP services.

The partnership is expected to allow ILS to begin servicing and selling systems in both the U.S. and Europe, further expanding the company's portfolio of partnerships.

"This move further solidifies ILS's commitment towards aggressive growth," said Vincent Patrick, vice president and co-founder of ILS, in a statement.

Excited about the alliance, Patrick said that the new venture will not affect existing clients who use ILS for their lead generation products.

VoIP is a general term for a family of transmission technologies for delivery of voice communications over the Internet or other packet switched networks. It allows users to place and receive telephone calls directly from their computers. The new relationship is expected to allow ILS to compete with other VoIP providers such as Skype (News - Alert) and Vonage.

He expects the new service would create additional channels for ILS customers to receive sale leads and communicate with customer service representatives. With multiple partnerships announced in recent months, Patrick also tried to defend the notion that his company is expanding too rapidly.

"To some, it may appear that our recent business acquisitions are not congruent," Patrick said. "To the contrary, they are strategically interconnected and we are seeing tremendous opportunities despite the current economic environment."

International Lead Service (ILS) Corporation is a provider of media-generated sales leads for the B2B and B2C markets.

Using its cost-per-action (CPA) model, the company offers sales professionals top-tier sales leads and conversations with buyers from a wide array of industries.

Earlier in November, ILS announced a partnership with San Diego-based Response Marketing Associates.

Aimed at enhancing exposure for ILS and its clients using direct response television (DRTV), the partnership is expected to help ILS to also increase its penetration into local and national television markets.

It is also expected to allow ILS to compete with other VoIP providers such as Skype and Vonage (News - Alert).
