Powering Up Your Gadgets

Scrambling around for holiday gift ideas? Or maybe you just don’t know how to efficiently spend your money this year because the economy has knocked you down. 

Well don’t fret, spending your money on an electronic gadget that’s multi-functioned could not only put a smile on the face of that special someone this holiday season, it could also help you out! Give them the gift of rechargeable power for their iPhone (News - Alert) or digital camera by buying them a portable charging device.

 

Although there are many to choose form, here are three that have just been stocked on the shelves. The Powerstick V2 by Ecosol, which works with just about any gadget you own. It ships with nine adapters and sells for $60 at Best Buy or Powerstick.com.

 

There’s the 3GJuice, a square shaped adapter that plugs into the 30-pin connector on iPhones and iPods. Older iPods that don’t have 30-pin connectors, this gadget is obviously not going to work. This one is available at Amazon.com (News - Alert) or 3Gjuice.com for $54.

 

Finally, Mophie recently introduced the Juice Pack for the iPhone 3G. The drawback to this device-specific charger is that it sells for $100, a lot of money for a charger that can only be used with another expensive device.
