HotData Inc.,
a real-time provider of value-added consumer and business information via
the Internet announced the expansion of its management team through the
appointment of Darryl Worsham as vice president of sales. Worsham
will oversee all sales functions, including product, channel, and field
sales force. He will spearhead the development of HotData's sales into the
e-business market and the mid-tier/enterprise customer relationship
management (CRM) markets, as well as oversee sales of HotData's successful
small business and SOHO offerings.
Knowlagent, a provider in
scheduled earning for customer contact centers, has appointed Thomas
Laudisi as vice president of sales. Prior to his appointment, Laudisi
enjoyed a successful career in the marketing and sales of telephony
solutions for eShare/Melita. In his new position Laudisi is responsible
for the development of the direct sales organization and
telemarketing/telesales group.
Williams Communications,
a carrier-focused broadband network and independent business
communications integrator, announced key appointments to support their
expanding growth opportunities.
Gordon Martin is promoted to president of carrier services. A
leader in the broadband industry, Martin has been with Williams since 1984
and in communications since 1986, shortly after Williams launched its
first network under the WilTel brand.
Laura Kenny, president of Vyvx services, is expanding Williams'
digital broadband media services to include hosting and the MediaXtranet.
She joined Williams in 1995 as vice president of marketing for Vyvx and
served as senior vice president and general manager for two years before
becoming president.
Jeff Storey was promoted to vice president of access services,
extending Williams' network from 125 existing and planned data centers to
high-density buildings, carrier hotels and selected central offices across
the United States.
Sharon Crow, vice president of bandwidth markets, has been
assigned to lead the company and the industry in developing a market model
for managing bandwidth capacity. Crow was a pioneer in creating markets
for natural gas and electricity at Williams Energy Services.
Greg Floerke was promoted to senior vice president of fiber
operations, responsible for the construction and engineering of Williams'
broadband domestic network.
Larry Satterfield has been appointed senior vice president and
general manager responsible for U.S. sales profit centers. Satterfield is
a veteran of the telecommunications industry with 18 years of experience
working with Williams Communications and companies like Bell Atlantic and
Nortel Networks.
Dan Miller has been promoted to senior vice president and chief
operations officer, in charge of the company's operations and the delivery
of a unified service platform to enterprise customers. Miller has more
than 25 years of industry experience, including management positions at
Ericsson and General Electric.
Roska Direct, a full-service direct
marketing agency, continues its 1999 trend in employment expansion during
the first six weeks of the new millennium. Most recently, three
significant roles were filled.
In the Technology Department, Philadelphia, PA resident Natalia
Yelsukova signed on as an Internet developer. Ms. Yelsukova came to
Roska Direct from iTurf, Inc., where she also worked as an Internet
developer.
Christian Bauman joined the agency's creative department as
proofreader. Mr. Bauman formerly served as copy editor for Viking/Penguin
in New York City.
The Creative Department also welcomes Mary Beth Conti, of
Springfield Township, NJ, who joined the agency as senior copywriter. Ms.
Conti has won several advertising awards in her career, including a
Philadelphia Addy Award.
Vsys, a provider of products and
services for the Internet telephony market, has named Greg Baltzer
as chief executive officer. Baltzer is a telecom veteran and an industry
visionary. Most recently, he was vice president of public network
marketing at Dialogic, an Intel company.
Teltran International announced
that Melanie Gordon; former LANSource Executive, and member of the
executive team during its acquisition by 3COM has joined the company as
director of marketing. Melanie will be responsible for marketing and
public pelations for Teltran International and Teltran.com, and will
assume the roll of executive producer of ChatOverIP.com -- the company
co-created by Teltran vp operations, Mitchell Hershkowitz.
Novazen is very excited to
announce that it has added James McCormick and Don Gips to
its board of directors. John Hansen will be its president and
chief executive officer. Perry Nelson will be the vice president of

Dave Goeppner has been hired as vice president/general manager
