- Microlog Corpoation announced that Gary L.
Rippen has joined the company as the new vice president of marketing. Rippen's
responsibilities will include all company front-end marketing activities, to increase
brand recognition of both Microlog and its products. His immediate responsibilities will
also include managing domestic sales for the Company on an interim basis.
- Molloy Group, Inc., a developer and marketer of
knowledge management software for customer service call centers and help desk operations,
has appointed industry veteran Louis A. Venezia as president and chief
operating officer. Venezia joined Molloy Group in April 1998 as vice president of sales,
becoming COO in November 1998. As president, he assumes a greater role in formulating
corporate strategy.
- VIP Calling, Inc., a provider of wholesale
international Internet telephony services, announced the appointment of Dinsdale
Broderick as director business development, Europe, Middle East and Africa
(EMEA). Broderick will be based in London. and will service VIP Callings rapidly
growing customer base in EMEA.
- Jetstream Communications has
moved its headquarters from San Jose to Los Gatos, California in response to the
tremendous interest it has received from both Incumbent and Competitive Local Exchange
Carriers (ILECs and CLECs) in its low line size access solution for business and
residential subscribers. The new location is nearly triple the size of Jetstream's
previous offices and houses state-of-the art manufacturing and engineering facilities that
will support the company as it transitions its leading voice-over-DSL solution into full
production. The company's new phone number is 408-399-1300.
- In a move underlining the importance of its international business, the Vantive Corporation, a leader in the customer
relationship management software market, announced the appointment of Guy Dubois
as executive vice president and general manager of international. Dubois brings more than
20 years of experience to this newly created role, in which he will develop and manage all
Vantive operations outside of North America.
