Hatteras Networks Bridges the Gap with Mid-Band Ethernet at NXTcomm08

Hatteras Networks (News - Alert), a provider of Ethernet solutions for enterprise access systems recently announced a new range of opportunities for carriers. The company is showcasing these opportunities at NXTcomm08. The goal is to enable carriers to comprehend how Hatteras Networks is able to improve revenue generating opportunities for users.



 
The company claims its solutions are able to increase the revenue brought in by carriers from high performance Mid-Band Ethernet services. In addition to that it will also be able to cut down on costs for mobile Ethernet backhaul, as well as increase on its performance levels by improving on speed.
 
The Mid-Band Ethernet infrastructure offered by Hatteras Networks will deliver an increased bandwidth and market availability which will prove advantageous for carriers, especially since it will also cut back on their expenditure.
 
Hatteras also plans to introduce its EtherFLEX Operating System (EOS) solution at NXTcomm (News - Alert). EOS is to be made available as a solution that will accelerate the customer acquisition process for carriers. The EOS systems offered by Hatteras Networks will also enable them to make wider service offerings, thereby maximizing on their network scalability.
 
The new EOS solution is to combine three different capabilities and will be showcased at the NXTcomm. The three solutions are SERVflex, SUREflex and FASTflex.
 
SERVflex is an independent and self-contained service providing delivery engine. SUREflex on the other hand has been designed to assist carriers to get the maximum out of their Service Level Agreements (SLAs). The final component, FASTflex, as its name indicates, increases speed and provides fast time to revenue for carriers.
 
Hatteras Networks aims to reshape carrier perspectives about Ethernet services. It s solutions enable service providers to supply up to 45 Mbps Mid-Band Ethernet services via the existing facilities.
 
The Hatteras Networks’ infrastructure and solutions have been established in five different countries. This has created an expanding market for carriers. Hatteras Networks aims to instruct visitors on the advantages of its services at the NXTcomm08.
