Arelnet, iSoftel Form Strategic Alliance Enhancing Services For VoIP Market

iSoftel Ltd. announced that it has formed a strategic alliance with Arelnet Ltd., a provider of VoIP telephony systems based in Israel.

The alliance involves the integration of iSoftel's VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) software solution, ipMillenia PPMS (Prepaid Postpaid Management System), into Arelnet's i-Tone suite of products. ipMillenia PPMS comprises pre- and post-paid services as well as billing solutions that will be initially incorporated into an Arelnet project encompassing 11 countries: the U.S., China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand.

Kevin Chia, President & CEO of iSoftel said, "The VoIP market is growing rapidly. This strategic alliance with Arelnet will further expand iSoftel's customer and installation base globally. ipMillenia PPMS is scheduled to be launched only in the fourth quarter of this year. Arelnet provides carrier grade VoIP systems, for carriers, next-gen telcos and ISPs. Its i-Tone Prime architecture includes a fully redundant, hot swappable gateway supporting up to 24 T1/E1 trunks per shelf and up to 5,000 ports per rack.

iSoftel's ipMillenia PPMS is capable of handling both voice and data traffic. Used by telecommunications service providers in both traditional Public Switched Telephone Networks (PSTN) and voice and data networks, this solution is targeted primarily at telecommunications service providers for provisioning of voice telephony services. ipMillenia PPMS' extensive management functions provide real-time analysis for both voice and data transmissions.
