16 Industry-Leading Companies To Participate In CTI EXPO
Fall '99 Learning Centers
Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC) announced
that 16 companies have committed to participate in the 6 technology-focused Learning
Centers on the exhibit floor at CTI EXPO Fall '99,
December 8-9, 1999 in the Las Vegas Convention Center. Begun two years ago at the first
CTI EXPO in Baltimore, MD, these multi-vendor booths provide attendees with an objective,
no-hype venue where they can see and compare products in action.
"The exhibit floor Learning Centers help attendees learn about the latest product
and service innovations," said TMC President and CTI EXPO Co-Chairman Rich Tehrani.
"By stressing objective education, we are providing the industry's only no-pressure,
face-to-face venue to learn about important industry topics. These areas are free to
exhibiting companies to help deliver the best, most current information for attendees to
use in bettering their company's future and their careers."
"We're proud to present these six focused Learning Centers," said Tehrani,
"And I want to thank these companies for participating in them."
- Next-Gen Call Center Technology: E-commerce without human interaction
is like shopping in a department store with no one to help answer your questions.
Attendees can learn how to marry their e-commerce and call center to provide the ultimate
in customer service. Participating companies include: CosmoCom, Genesys and
Telephony@Work.
- Public Network CTI: By adding computer intelligence to the phone
company's network or PSTN cloud, Network CTI products and services allow you to leverage
the network your service provider has built, giving you more flexibility in handling your
telecom needs. Participating companies include: Net2Phone, VocalData, Motorola Computer
Group and Starvox.
- Linux CTI: Linux is robust, scalable, mission-critical and inexpensive.
Many manufacturers are betting on Linux as the ideal open telephony server OS for you.
Participating companies include: White Pine, Quicknet and Aculab.
- CT Media: A revolutionary new Intel/Microsoft/Dialogic/ECTF open
telephony standard used to construct a computer telephony (CT) server or open telephony
server. A CT Server runs applications and uses hardware from multiple vendors, freeing you
to choose best-of-breed products. Participating companies include: Dialogic, Rockwell
Electronic Commerce and Telekol (Nokia).
- Development/Testing: Everything you need to develop applications from
software to hardware to testing tools will be on display. Participating companies include:
Hammer, Teltone, Brooktrout and Pronexus.

phones and IP will be the universal wireless networking standard. Come see how far
wireless CTI technology has come and where it is headed. Participating companies include:
AIRLINX Communications and Ericsson WebCom.
"At TMC our commitment to objectively educating our industry is unyielding,"
said Tehrani. "We continuously strive to provide the information our readers and
attendees need. Our editors and TMC Labs engineers toil endlessly to help VARs,
interconnects, service providers, developers and end users purchase products that best
suit their needs. Innovation and relentlessly perfecting every detail of the ideal
educational EXPO experience for our valued attendees is what keeps CTI EXPO ahead of all
other shows."
