AirWatch Forms Technology Partnership with FeedHenry

AirWatch (News - Alert), a leading enterprise mobility management provider, announced formation of a new partnership with FeedHenry, a leading provider of cloud-based next-generation mobile applications. The technology partnership will integrate FeedHenry’s (News - Alert) Mobile Application Platform (MAP) with AirWatch, to provide a quick creation and deployment of mobile enterprise applications, which can be managed within the AirWatch app. The joint solution will be showcased by FeedHenry during Mobile World Congress (News - Alert), in Barcelona, Spain, from Feb 24-27.

“IT organizations often need to develop, deploy and maintain mobile applications quickly and securely to accelerate business opportunities and promote employee productivity,” said John Marshall (News - Alert), CEO of AirWatch. “FeedHenry’s platform integration with AirWatch provides enterprises the ability to secure their mobile devices, and to simplify app development with connectivity to backend systems through RESTful APIs in the cloud.”

FeedHenry’s integration provides a host of benefits to AirWatch users which include enterprise-grade Mobile Backend-as-a-service (MBaaS) for easy integration with internal business systems and third-party services; accelerated development cycles; reduction of time to get to market; simplified and secure connectivity apps (apps can be AirWatch-enabled and published easily); rapid updates pushed to all AirWatch-enabled devices on the AirWatch MDM platform; and the AirWatch console enables enterprises to monitor and track all newly created apps.

“The integration of our next generation Mobile Application Platform with AirWatch’s EMM solution now gives enterprises secure device management along with the ability to develop, host and manage native, hybrid and HTML5 applications,” said Cathal McGloin (News - Alert), CEO at FeedHenry. “Most mobile enterprise deployments have been focused on the development of one-off tactical applications for specific groups of employees or customers. Increasingly however, organizations are looking toward more advanced mobilization of a broader set of assets and back-end data sets. We believe that agile, cloud-based mobile application platforms, alongside MDM solutions, will play an important role in this enablement.”

MAP is an open and flexible platform which has been built up from base for mobile and cloud-based solutions. MBaaS, an innovation by FeedHenry, enables enterprises to provide secure integration to backend systems, mobile app management, analytics and reporting. Enterprise’s IT provide maximum security, scalability, management of the policies and access controls for public, private or hybrid clouds or on-premise appliances.
