The uMobility solution is now available for Android (News - Alert) phones and Apple's iPad platform according to an announcement by Varaha Systems, Inc. at Interop, which finished today in Las Vegas.

"uMobility's unique architecture once again has quickly delivered the first comprehensive Android solution as well as out-of-the box support of the iPad, with these platforms including full support for session hand-off between wireless networks.
The worldwide market share for the combination of iPhone (News - Alert), Android and Blackberry has passed the 40 percent mark and 85 percent in the U.S. market. With the addition of uMobility's support for the Android line, Varaha now supports virtually all commercially available dual mode smart phones.
