PANDUIT to Showcase Physical Infrastructure Management Solutions

PANDUIT (News - Alert), a manufacturer of products for wiring and communications applications, has announced that the company will showcase solutions on physical infrastructure management and 10 Gigabit technologies at the upcoming Interop (News - Alert) show.
The company also announced that its PANVIEW iQ Physical Infrastructure Management System was selected as a 2008 Best of Interop finalist in the Network Management, Software and Services category.
PANVIEW iQ an industry-first physical infrastructure management system, released recently by PANDUIT, that automates the documentation of physical layer patch field connectivity and enables intelligent patch-field management without the need for additional rack space. The system addresses the challenges involved in managing, monitoring and maintaining the network which has become the backbone of every business today.
The system is the combination of powerful hardware designs and extensible Web-based software for intelligent monitoring of physical layer connectivity within reduced rack space. It offers real-time information of network status and ensures connectivity, while also facilitates planning, implementation, and documentation of connectivity moves, adds, or changes and monitors and alert administrators of any patch field changes or potential security risks.
PANDUIT will also conduct a 10GBASE-T demonstration operating over 100 meters of PANDUIT TX6 10GIG Copper Cabling, featuring virtualization and streaming video applications within a data center environment.
The TX6 10GIG copper cabling system delivers true end-to-end 10 Gigabit Ethernet performance for exceptional alien crosstalk performance beyond 500 MHz.
