HD Video Conferencing Provder LifeSize to Showcase Products and Customers

HD video conferencing solutions provider, LifeSize Communications, has said it will showcase its products and customers next week at Interop (News
) in Las Vegas.
The company informs that Thomas Fenady of Activision, one of the company’s customers, will be speaking about his experience with LifeSize (News
Craig Malloy, LifeSize CEO said in a statement that Fenady will discuss how Activision (News
) uses LifeSize HD video products to link international developers to speed production of popular video games like Guitar Hero, Call of Duty 4 and Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground.
The company also plans to showcase its new LifeSize Focus integrated HD camera and microphone array, which is available with LifeSize Express.
Together, LifeSize Express and LifeSize Focus create the “world’s first high definition video communication system” with a retail price below $5000, “delivering high definition telepresence experience over existing broadband networks.”
LifeSize Focus features a high definition video camera that delivers full HD 1280x720 video at 30 frames per second and is built to operate in any office or conference room environment. LifeSize focus is also equipped with an integrated two-microphone array with patented beam-forming technology.
Officials pointed out that by integrating the microphone array in the camera housing, LifeSize Focus saves space and eliminates clutter.
Malloy commented that wile many companies have static equipment displays or splashy booth graphics, “our high definition video products are the star of our show with live links to our company headquarters in Austin and other locations around the world.”
“We encourage conference attendees to stop by our booth so they can experience telepresence for themselves.”
