QuickLogic Displays Its Portable CE Products at CES

QuickLogic Corporation, a supplier of ultra-low power customizable solutions for mobile applications plans to demonstrate it’s Customer Specific Standard Products during the CES show in Las Vegas.

QuickLogic Corporation provides customizable semiconductor solutions for mobile and portable electronics Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Original Design Manufacturer (ODMs). The company ensures that the silicon plus software solutions that are called CSSP enables customers to bring their products to market faster.

The innovative products that OEMs and ODMs have delivered to the market include Multimedia Phones, Portable Media Players (PMPs) and Navigation Devices (PNDs), Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs), and Pocket PCs.

CSSP as an approach offers designers the integration and flexibility to accelerate time-to-market and differentiation in the mobile market. It provides a unique combination of hard logic and ultra-low power programmable fabric based on company’s patented ViaLink technology for adapting CSSPs as market conditions change, resulting in longer time-in-market.

According to the company, CSSP concept aids mobile product system architects and designers to move from mass production to mass customization. It helps in shrinking product development schedules and budgets and helps them to face challenges that require a flexible approach to system design once an application or baseband processor has been chosen.

Here is the diagram which shows the CSSP Platform Concept:

Both OEM/ODM end products and CSSP technology are part of the demonstration and the company's proprietary Visual Enhancement Engine (VEE) technology is also part of the showcase. VEE brings TV-quality visual experience to mobile devices while significantly reducing display system power consumption. The showcase theme is called "Seeing is Believing."
