i3 micro and CommuniTech to Distribute VoIP Products

i3 micro technology (i3 - news - alert) and Communitech (news - alert) announced today that the companies just entered into a reseller agreement. According to the agreement, Communitech will distribute i3's Vood (Voice-Options-on-Demand) product line beginning this month.

With this agreement, i3, a provider of Voice-over-IP (VoIP - define - news - alert) and IP-TV products and solutions, expands its US channel with CommuniTech distributing the company's Vood terminal adaptors, residential gateways, integrated access devices and i3 Centre Element Management software to its base of service providers nationally.

We've tracked i3's VoIP hardware and software for the past year and found that their focus on lowering total cost of ownership during, and after, installation fits extremely well with making our customer order and fulfillment process among the best in the industry," stated Neal Shact, president and CEO of CommuniTech.

Headquartered in Kista, Sweden i3’s Vood products offer connectivity to any IP broadband network: Ethernet, FTTH or ADSL. Models with integrated routing, NAT and firewall features are available in the 300 and 400 series. All Vood models support the VoIP standards including H.323, SIP and MGCP (including NCS). Available IP-based user features include click-to-dial, phone book, local configuration via telephone or Web, and voicemail with optional message forwarding as e-mail attachments.
