Digium Honors Top Resellers at Pinnacle Awards
Digium, a manufacturer of IP phones and gateways and the developer of Asterisk (News - Alert) -- an open source framework for creating communications applications -- recently announced the winners of its annual Pinnacle Awards where it highlights the outstanding achievements of its channel partners.
Each year, Digium (News - Alert) takes into account each partner’s sales performance and attention to customer service. From that focus, it places the cream of the crop in one or several of five categories: Pinnacle Circle of Excellence, Partner of the Year, Digium Cloud Services (DCS) Partner of the Year, Direct Marketing Partner of the Year, and Distributor of the Year.
Steve Harvey, the vice president of worldwide sales and support at Digium, commented on the general scope of the awards and his company’s excitement to have many partners that perform exceptionally in their respective regions.
“These awards highlight the extent of market reach and customer satisfaction that can be achieved through a mutually-beneficial partnership in today’s competitive [unified communications] environment,” Harvey said. “We are pleased to work with partners that have successfully leveraged their VoIP expertise to bring our family of value-based Digium solutions to their local markets.”
Pinnacle Circle of Excellence contains the most recipients of any category in the Pinnacle Awards. It honors the top 25 value added resellers according to their highest revenue generation and reaching the highest levels of certification within the Digium Partner Program.
Partner of the Year takes a similar look at top performers by honoring the best of the best for each reseller in their respective geographical regions.
DCS Partner of the Year notes the one partner that grabbed the highest monthly recurring revenue selling Digium Cloud Services. Similarly, the Direct Marketing Partner of the Year achieved the highest annual revenue with the reselling of all Digium products.
Finally, Distributor of the Year honors those companies that achieved the highest annual revenue growth throughout the past year in their own geographical regions.
