MobiMate Ltd., a leading provider of mobile travel services, has unveiled the latest version of its award-winning flagship service WorldMate. The new WorldMate 2007 Professional Edition, tailored for the new Palm Treo 680 smartphone, comes with improved global weather coverage capabilities.




WorldMate, which is the most popular application for the Treo smartphone, is a comprehensive suite of content services including global weather forecasts with animated satellite imagery, currency information, flight timings and real-time flight status. Other useful features are travel expense reporting, itinerary planning, currency conversion and world clocks. The application has been validated and utilized by a host of handheld device manufacturers including Nokia, Palm, Sony Ericsson (News - Alert) and Symbian. Supported by nine platforms, WorldMate is the only mobile application to have been a top-10 best seller on more than 5 platforms.

The new release has further strengthened the eight-year-long partnership between MobiMate and Palm, Inc.
