White-label Partner Program: Resellers Apply

Aretta Communications, provider of cloud-based telephony, recently established an extensive white-label partner program, enabling resellers to buy on a wholesale basis from Aretta (News - Alert) and create branded IP-PBX solutions for their customers. This white-label partner program marks a trend of success for Aretta in the past three years with its hosted, Asterisk (News - Alert)-based IP-PBX solution.

Through the program, resellers now can privately label Aretta's open-source software solution surrounding the Linux operating system, virtualization, and the Asterisk IP-PBX application. Marc Fribush (News - Alert), president of Aretta Communications, expressed his excitement in providing resellers with the opportunity to expand their business offerings. Fribush believes groups, such as outsourced IT providers, IP-PBX (News - Alert) phone vendors and integrators, telecom agents, circuit resellers, and traditional TDM interconnects, can benefit from the ability to provide SMB with white-labeled voice and PBX offerings, providing healthy profit margins. "Switching to Aretta's virtualization platform for our hosted Asterisk systems has reduced our operational workload and installation times while at the same time reduced our cost of delivery from a capex point of view," said David Wessell, CTO of ITSG, a technology solutions provider in North Carolina. Wessell added that using Aretta’s virtualization platform allows ITSG to focus on its growing customer base.

Resellers interested in participating must meet certain criteria, in which they have an applicable business to distribute the offering, and candidates must meet minimum monthly revenue requirements to maintain wholesale pricing. To ensure the success of new resellers in the program, Aretta is providing training, user guides and datasheets, and educational information on how to configure the PBX and VoIP handsets.
