St. Croix Orthopaedics Deploys Interactive Intelligence's Enterprise IP Telephony Software Suite

St. Croix Orthopedics has selected Interactive Intelligence (News - Alert) Group Inc.’s enterprise IP telephony software suite, Customer Interaction Center.

St. Croix Orthopedics has a team of orthopaedic surgeons and sports medicine doctors who provide care for chronic to acute conditions and will be deploying CIC to replace an end-of-life Inter-Tel (News - Alert) system in order to improve customer service.

“We looked at a wide variety of communications systems during our evaluation,” said St. Croix Orthopaedics CEO, Melanie Sullivan, Ed.D in a statement.

“We selected CIC based on its broad feature-set, reporting capabilities, and single-platform software architecture for ease-of-administration,” Sullivan adds.

“By aligning our workforce management needs with projected call volume we’ll also be able to better manage costs,” Sullivan adds. “And because CIC’s single-platform software architecture will enable us to administer it from a single location across all our distributed sites, we’ll potentially save money and time associated with staff support and travel.”

The company purchased CIC from Interactive Intelligence reseller, Computer Integration Technologies (CIT), already a St. Croix Orthopaedics IT partner for more than 13 years.

“CIT’s recommendation of CIC was a primary factor in our decision because it was backed by more than a decade of guidance that’s helped us deploy and maintain a very effective IT infrastructure,” Sullivan commented. “CIT also had extensive experience customizing CIC so we were confident that we’d get maximum value.”

St. Croix Orthopedics will use CIC and leverage its IP PBX (News - Alert), voice mail, desktop softphone, auto-attendant, multichannel routing and queuing, call recording, and reporting capabilities.

Over the years, St. Croix Orthopaedics center has grown to include a variety of orthopaedic clinics and hospital affiliations that offer a full range of services - from minimally invasive surgery (such as hip arthroscopy and arthroscopic shoulder surgery) and rehabilitation, to limb lengthening, MRI technology and orthotics. The physicians and sports medicine doctors of St. Croix Orthopaedics have earned a reputation for excellence.
