AFORE CloudLink Now Available for VMware vCloud Hybrid Service

CloudLink SecureVSA, offering from AFORE Solutions (News - Alert), is now available for VMware vCloud Hybrid Service.

Both companies have teamed on addressing key issues faced by enterprises during production cloud deployments.

Businesses moving to cloud deployments want the entire process to be secure and flexible and AFORE Solutions helps them achieve this goal.

CloudLink SecureVSA allows businesses to bring their own encryption to vCloud Hybrid Service in the form of a virtual storage encryption appliance. This ensures that data is not accessible to other tenants, cloud administrators and outsiders.

VMware vCloud Hybrid Service enables customers to seamlessly extend their private data centers to the public cloud and they don’t have to spend money in buying tools that support the deployment.

CloudLink SecureVSA for VMware vCloud Hybrid Service offers several benefits such as an easily deployed agentless solution that requires no changes to workloads and applications.

Businesses can leverage VMware tools including VMware vSphere, vCloud Director and vCloud Automation Center, and encrypt on a "per-VM" basis rather than the entire virtual data center.

Earlier this year, CloudLink SecureVSA was selected as the data security foundation for the EMC (News - Alert) Encryption as a Service (EaaS) solution.

Customers can leverage EMC EaaS to benefit from pay-as-you-go data encryption.

EMC EaaS not only complements existing as-a-Service offerings but also makes it easier for Cloud Service Providers to promote cloud adoption amongst their customers.
