ITEXPO: FaxBack Announces Reliability Concerns a Thing of the Past

By Jaclyn Allard, TMCnet Copy Editor

FaxBack, a VoIP fax server company, announced today at ITEXPO (News - Alert), the availability of its HTTPS Fax Platform to the general public. The HTTPS Fax Platform, originally announced at ITEXPO East this past February, enables fax machines, desktop fax applications (such as Windows Fax and Scan) and NET (News - Alert) SatisFAXtion fax servers to stream fax data over low quality Internet connections.

This week at ITEXPO West 2010, setting up shop at booth 319, FaxBack (News - Alert) is proud to announce that several customers, including carriers, enterprises and managed service providers adopted FaxBack’s HTTPS Fax Platform, achieving cost savings, while maintaining high TPM reliability and security over Internet, wireless, cellular and satellite connections.

“FaxBack introduced its HTTPS Fax Platform last winter, and since then, the industry has followed our lead by embracing the technology as a superior alternative to T.38-based fax solutions,” said Quentin Dible, vice president of Operations for FaxBack. Dibble added that Faxback is ahead of the competition because they’ve already had two carrier customers connect hundreds of Fax ATAs with great success, proving that fax reliability in no longer a pain point.

FaxBack’s HTTPS Fax Platform, specializing in reliability and security issues with transmitting T.38 over the Internet, provides highly scalable, real-time HTTPs fax communication between premise based NET SatisFAXtion fax servers, fax clients and AudioCodes (News - Alert) HTTPS fax enabled MP-202B ATA devices. The HTTPS Fax Platform also makes traffic routing easy for small and large VoIP providers.

Further information about FaxBack’s HTTPS Fax Platform, as well as the new NET SatisFAXtion VoIP fax server trialware program that optionally includes 30 days of VoIP fax connectivity, can be found at FaxBack’s website or by visiting the company booth this week at ITEXPO in Los Angeles.
