Verizon (News - Alert) Wireless V CAST Mobile TV service allows customers to watch sporting events, breaking news and their favorite network TV shows.
V CAST Mobile TV now offers programming that includes:

· Dora the Explorer
The service offers full length shows and mobile television content from:
· CBS Mobile
· Comedy Central
· Fox Mobile
· MTV
· NBC 2GO
· NBC News2GO and
· Nickelodeon
The service also comes with parental control features; hence parents can monitor and restrict the programs their children view.
“This goes way beyond any other video offerings in the wireless market right now. No buffering. No lag time. It’s like flipping on your television at home. You absolutely have to see it to believe the quality of this service,” Rich Garwood (News - Alert), Region President for Verizon Wireless, was quoted as saying in the report.
V CAST Mobile TV from Verizon Wireless is powered on the FLO TV service from MediaFLO USA, a wholly owned subsidiary of Qualcomm (News - Alert) Incorporated. Because MediaFLO USA operates a dedicated multicast network that delivers programming in a linear format, Verizon Wireless can offer customers the latest in mobile entertainment without impacting its award-winning voice and data services.
