By Meenakshi Shanks, TMCnet Contributing Editor

Nokia (News - Alert), will soon launch its 2135 device that will, according to the company, become a promising device that connects people in a better and simpler way.

The device features 3.5 hours of talktime or 11 days of standby time, and will function well even between charges.

"Many consumers are looking for a simple, affordable phone to keep them in touch with the people who mean the most to them, and the Nokia 2135 is designed with those consumers in mind," said Larry Paulson, senior vice president and general manager of Nokia's CDMA business group. "The large easy to read keys and familiar Nokia user interface makes the Nokia 2135 comfortable to use. The modern design and compact size makes it easy to carry, and the attractive price makes it easy to afford."

The Nokia 2135, although designed with simplicity in mind also includes a strong set of features without any complexity. The device features a 400-entry phonebook, an integrated speakerphone, user-assignable ringtones, a built in calendar, and a built-in voice recorder.

Nokia is focused on making changes and delivering innovation that include variety and new trends. Each of their devices promises to enhance the customer art of communication.
